Ruthie’s All-Day is a neighborhood restaurant, serving coffee, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Located in a historic mid-century building formerly occupied by a chocolate factory/ice cream shop and a later a paint store, the 4,560 sf location required careful coordination with the Virginia Department of Historic Resources.

Ruthie’s All-Day, in addition to the indoor dining room, features an exterior patio and a parking lot with twenty-two dedicated spaces. The standalone restaurant is known for its wood-smoked barbecue in the evening and casual ambience. Large floor-to-ceiling windows connect the restaurant with the bustling Arlington Heights neighborhood, with operable windows opening to the outdoor patio.
