Boardwalk Bar & Arcade looks to bring the energy of a summer day at the beach to The Wharf in DC. Twice as large as the original location in Penn Quarter, Boardwalk churns out frozen cocktails, craft beers, and carnival-inspired foods to an upwards of 640 patrons. Boardwalk touts 3 bars, one wrapping 120 feet around the length of the façade. A bright blue waterfront patio that seats 70 with a retractable roof and window, plus heaters and fans, can accommodate all temperatures for year-round enjoyment.

Designed by Wood + Star, Boardwalk Bar & Arcade is soaked in pink coral, sea foam, and deep blue tones, paying homage to Santa Monica’s beachside boardwalks. Featuring over 30 arcade games strewn across the space, the venue is filled with playful adornments, from the dangling beach cruisers and woven basket lights to the surfboards and tropical plants.
