This is Potomac Construction’s second full build project with bartaco, after a successful build at City Vista DC in 2021. bartaco is inspired by beach cultures in southern California, Uruguay, and Brazil. The casual taco spot offers Mexican fusion street food and a variety of cocktails.

This location is at the waterfront level of a Wharf Phase 2 apartment building. The 4,935 SF space includes seating inside for 180 and an outdoor dining area to enjoy the waterfront views. The interior of the restaurant looks to invoke the experience of a coastal beach outing and features whitewashed walls, photographs of beach sceneries, and woven basket light fixtures which hang over the bar and dining areas. The outdoor seating area consists of an open-air space and an enclosed space with operable windows for year-round use.
